#1 - INVITATION TO BID
ELECTRICAL WORK to include
WIRING OF UNIT # 5 AKIACHAK, ALASKA
Yupiit School District is accepting bids for delivery of all materials and install electrical services for Unit #5 in Akiachak, Alaska to the meter base. This house is located in remote rural Alaska and none are accessible by road.
The Scope of Work will include the purchase, transportation, delivery, installation of electrical service for House #5 to include the Boiler Room for the Yupiit School District’s Unit #5 in Akiachak, Alaska.
Work to be completed between June 24th, 2024 and July 10th, 2024
• Unit #5 is approximately 1,172 square foot house (The exterior measurements are 26’2.5”
Width and 42’2” Length.), which is currently demolished down to the building interior studs.
The Scope of Work is to include the following areas: two (2) bedrooms, one (1) bathroom
with exhaust fan, one (1) Kitchen with exhaust fan, one (1) Livingroom, one (1) Storage room
with freezer plug, one (1) Laundry Room, Interior & Exterior Lighting, hallways, two (2)
exterior entrances with exterior lights, one (1) Boiler Room with boiler, water heater and
heat trace for water and sewer lines installed per 2021 International Residential Codes (IRC).
The house will require all new grounding, wire, switches (single and two way), outlets, house
panel box with breakers for the completion of work. Any exterior wiring will need to be
installed in PVC conduit schedule 80.
• The existing wiring will need to demolished in the walls, floors and ceilings.
• New electrical to be at rough-in state.
• Light Fixtures will be provided by YSD.
• Attached are photos of the existing panel box, exterior front & back of house, current kitchen
studs, and basic house layout.
• Attached is the new kitchen layout.
• Yupiit School District will provide lodging and transportation in Akiachak.

ELECTRICAL WORK to include HARDWIRE INSTALLATION OF SAWSTOP IS51230 - AKIAK, AKIACHAK, TULUKSAK SCHOOL SHOPS
Yupiit School District is accepting bids for delivery of all materials and install electrical services for hardwired Sawstop in Akiachak, Akiak and Tuluksak, Alaska School Shops. These school are located in remote rural Alaska and none are accessible by road.
The Scope of Work will include the purchase, transportation, delivery, installation of electrical service for Hardwiring Sawstop for the Yupiit School District’s School Shops, Akiak, Akiachak and Tuluksak, Alaska.
Work to be completed between June 24th and August 22nd, 2024
• Each School Akiachak, Akiak and Tuluksak need to have the SawStop hardwired into an
existing saw outlet.
• Contractor to verify breaker load, prior to hardwiring into the existing saw outlet.
• SawStops are located in each of the school shops.
• Attached are photos of the existing panel box, exterior front & back of house, current kitchen
studs, and basic house layout.
• Attached is the new kitchen layout.
• Yupiit School District will provide lodging and transportation in each of the villages.

Bids will be accepted until 2:00 PM Alaska time on Friday, June 14, 2024. All bids will be publicly opened on that date. Bid review and notice of award shall occur within 7 days of the bid opening date.

BULK FUEL DELIVERY
Fuel Bid 2024 Form
Yupiit School District is accepting seal bids for the furnishing and delivery of Bulk Grade #1 Diesel Fuel Oil, Bulk Gasoline, Bulk Motor Oil and Propylene Glycol for Akiachak, Akiak, and Tuluksak schools prior to the start of school in August 2024.
All schools are located in remote rural Alaska and none are accessible by road.
The scope of work will include the purchase, transport, delivery, pumping and transfer of bulk fuel to the Yupiit School District’s bulk tanks.
Sealed bids will be accepted at the Yupiit School District Office. Sealed bids shall be addressed to:
